Back from work, station down

Submitted by on January 9, 2005 – 6:30 pm

Ok, I work at Slaveway (err… I mean Safeway) Fuel Station and since 3:50 pm yesterday, our station has been down, shit, when I went into work this morning, it was still down so I was making free money for no work! I wish work was like that ALL the time. All I pretty much did was read Pita-Ten vol 7, listen to music on my laptop, and talked with the tech guy who was there (which was getting screwed over on the phone).

See… everytime we have a computer problem, we call STSC, then we wait for a call from a programmer. The programmer we get all the freaken time talks slow and low, he really sucks, I mean I really don’t think he know what he’s talking about. The tech guy who was out fixing our system got that same guy and was getting fed up too. After going around in cicrles yesterday and part of the morning today, we all came to a conclusion that the computer had to be replaced. The tech went down and got another system, brought it back and had to go through some more hoops. Around 4 pm, he finally found out what’s wrong with the new system; it wasn’t preconfiruged and so he had to do it THERE. Yeah, he finially figured it out after getting a programmer who KNOWS what they’re talking about.

Pretty funny tho, cuz I was talking with the tech and told him that if I was a programmer for Slaveway, they’ll fire me on the first day for doing so good that they well come in and said “I’m sorry, you’re fired for making us too much money.” Espeally because they would have to pay me more if I did.

Oh wells, tell next time.

BTW… I can’t wait to get time to watch AIR ep 1 and School Rumble ep 11 :)
