Site Update
For most who don’t know, I have my own site, although it was pretty much nothing of intrest and I kept taking it down and putting it back up and such. But now, I’m going to actually get something done on it, I’m going to be learning PHP and CSS and all the good scripts that the web could offer. Tell then, you’ll only get a nice little black screen with a bit of information while all the site testing and such is done in the background. My dreams for it origally was to make it my place for where I store my programs that I’ve made, unfortationally, though, I was still learning programming at the time but because of lack of time I didn’t even got passed Chapter 5 in a VB book. Now that I have VS.NET Pro (EDU edition), a VB.NET and C++.NET book, hopefully I’ll be able to learn to program (that is, if my job doesn’t push me over my limits when I get back (btw, I can’t learn anything this week because I’m in AZ, if you’ve forgotten)), also, I’ve gotten myself a nice PHP book, but my host is running the stable version of PHP4 and not PHP5 (atleast, not yet), so learning PHP might take me some time to actually learn since I’m trying to set up my laptop to run is a local server on my linux side so that I could learn how to use PHP and MySQL.
Anyways, my current dreams for my site now is to make it a multi-purposed site, allowing users to post to comments on “news” created. This is also going to be the holding point for my AMVs, let people link to other AMVs, talk about anime, softwares, games, programming, etc… Like I said, a multi-purposed site, plus I also gotten this one gallery software sometime ago for A3, but because the main admin like to make things “simpler” on himself (although I do must of the work), he decided to go with a different software, damn waste of money on my part, so why not use it? I mean, I’ve paid for it, didn’t I? Anyways, yea, I’m going to incorprate that into my site also, custom make the database to my liking so everything well work together.
Further down in my dreams, I’m hoping to some day sell stuff using PayPal as a shopping cart (esspecally since I don’t have SSL nor have the money to even buy SSL)
