What a weekend
Wow, I thought I did this already, I guess I haven’t submit it so I lost it T_T
Anyways…
On Saturday, me and my dad went to pick up my mom and sister at BART, and we called Uhal to see if there’s a truck avaible for us… we were on hold for about a hour, by the time we finally got someone alive, me, my dad, mom, and sister were over at my grandma’s. The lady on the other line was a real bitch and just kept putting my dad on hold. That’s when my dad started looking at other places for a one way truck. Of course, no places had trucks avaible for that day so we were like “fuck.” About a half hour or so before we left we got a call from Uhal and said that they had a truck avaible for us. So we went and pick it up and started packing. We were packing tell 4 am in the morning, sunday, and we went to bed for a hour or so, woke back up and finished packing the truck. We were hoping to leave at 4 in the morning, we left at noon.
About 2 hours away from Phoenix, my tire blew out. It was about 4 am Monday. And my sister had work at 8 am, and she missed her work, and it was her first day there too. Just to let you know, my mom and my sister was driving in a different car, not on mine, they were waiting for the tow truck with me. The tow truck took 2 and a half hours to get out there. After words, I had to drive under 50 MPH on a 75 MPH zone T_T Luckly, though, there was a place at the next exit that had tires, so I got off there and got a new tire, although it was used, but it was only 35 bucks, so it was cheap, but still need to get a new tire.
Finally got to my new house, and my dad forces me back out to get ice and such, by then I had no sleep for over 2 days.
We got a couple of people came over to set things up, like the phone, alarm system, blinds, and cable. Talking about cable, Cox fucken screwed us over because we asked for 3 digital and 1 HD and they only gave us 1 digital coverter box >.< plus all they did for the fastconnect (internet) is set it up outside, we had to go to Cox and get the modem, the 2 digital converter box and 1 HD converter box.
Anyways, that’s all I can say right now because I’m too lazy to say anymore.
