scsa20’s getting sirius radio?
Yes… I am getting Sirius Satellite Radio, the eqemipment and installtion is alreadly paided for and just need to take it in 2morrow to get it installed.
Wait! Didn’t you say that you weren’t going to bother with Satellite Radio? Well… I was mainly because I thought XM was the only one out there and they don’t really play anything that I like… Until Howard Stern (yes, I now listen to Howard Stern) said that he’s going to Sirius to get away from those fuckers who call themself the FCC. Now, after hearing him say that, I paid no attation, still thinking that I won’t listen, but then when I went to sirius.com, they had a 3 day trial for there online so I said what the fuck and gave it a go for there online thing. Looking thought what they have (which is almost all the content (not everything, of course), I put it on 15 (classic rewind (which is a rock station)) and I was just blown away with the music that they’re playing, a hella better selection then any of the rock station that XM played. Sure, I bet if I flip through the stations a bit longer I could find a rock station that’ll work for me on XM, but I don’t wanna waste time just trying to find it. On Sirius, the moment I started playing that channel I was hooked into it. Also looking at what kind of equemipment I decided to go with the one that’ll only be hooked into my car. The recever box is only 99 bucks (had to reason with the guy at Audio Express because they wanted 150, they brought it down to 130 something (before mail-in rebate) plus 30 doller in store incaseshit for a year, after the year that 30 dollers goes towards store credit (30 bucks off new speakers!), 7 bucks for extra parts, and 1 doller for installtion), so total price of everything is 173 something, which was a great deal, all I have to do now is get a subcription and activait it.
Do you even have the money? Not really, but that’s what credit cards are for :D (no, I do not pay the min., I pay over the min, unless I could pay it off at which I well).
Anyways… once I get sirius installed, set up, etc, I’ll be waiting for Howard on channel 100 and 101 :D
