Damn, yesterday when I got home I was dead tired. Here’s the break down of what happen yesterday:

Woke up at 5:15 am
got dressed around 5:30
left the house around 5:45
got to work at excatly at 6:30 and got stright to work.
Went to lunch at around 12:23
Came back from lunch at 12:33 (yes, a ten minute lunch, even though my boss told me to go off site and relaxe for lunch, I didn’t).
between 3 pm and 5, people from other department was helping with packing up the files (we got to pack over 2k files, by month, in Alpha order).
between 5 and 5:30, people started to disappared
Around 6:30, started finding some more files.
Around 8:30, we said fuck it, and just started throwing files in boxes and writing up a list.
Left work at 8:50 pm.

so, yeah, I worked about 14 hours. My feet hurts, my arm is floppy, and I do not want to unpack everything monday morning -_-;;

btw… if you have no clue what’s happening, let me just tell you now. Our Co. is moving from Scottsdale, AZ to Tempe, AZ, and yesterday was our last day at the old building so we had to pack everything up… I mean… ev…ery….thing….

Also, I find it funny, originally the systems was supposed to go down at 1 pm, but the boss higher up was able to extand it to 3; some of the ops managers told there workers that they could leave at 3; but the e-mail that was sent out said that they HAVE to help with the packing tell 5, so a lot of people was bitching about having to pack files. Well… all I could say to them is… fuck them. We deal with there files, we “feth” them the files when needed, and they want to treat us like shit?

Luckly for me, I’ve been in a different room most of the time, away from the madness, doing something else, but, still, I want to find out everyone that was bitching about having to put files away so that next time they request for a file and they need it asap, I’ll just take my sweet time (maybe an hour at most)

Another thing I find funny is that we were putting it in order by when it was funded. But a lot of people were just looking at the date that was on the top right coner. That’s not the date it was funded but the date it was receved to give to the shippers for shipping it out to the invistor, for all we know it could of been funded the month before!

As the clock ticks down to 8:50, we started finding more and more files that goes in a correct month so we just throw them in any box, write up a list, etc.

The new place where we’re moving to… we have a smaller area… it sucks….

oh wells… I’m too tired to even bitch about the new place so I’m out… tell next time…
