Music?
Everyone always asked me what kind of music I listen to, the short answer is I listen to any kind that catches my ears. But what exactly catches my ears? Really depends on different factors. Is the song I’m currently listening to in English or in another language? Is it rap? What’s the beat like? And more impotently (if it’s English), what’s the meaning in it?
Believe it or not, but if I’m listening to a song that’s in English (which is the majority in this case), I like to have meaning to the song. I don’t like songs that goes like “To the window… to the walls, to the walls, to the sweat drop from my balls,” no thanks, those kinds of songs are just plain out stupid. I’ll make my stand right now.
Honestly speaking, I don’t know how people could stand listening to that kind of shit. What’s the meaning behind it? All it is is some guy talking about banging some girl from the window to the wall and having sweat drop from his balls or something like that; give me one real meaning behind this crappy music and you’ll earn yourself a dollar.
Talking about crappy music, how about, “My hump, my hump my hump my hump, my little lady lump, my hump,” I don’t give a shit about your “hump” lady, besides, I don’t like “fat asses” like some guys do. Meaning behind this song? I don’t know, really, all I know is that she’s obsessed with her ass and she thinks that every guy wants her because of her ass. Life becomes scary when women thinks like that.
Now this is why I don’t like XM Radio, because they just play that same shit over and over again, it’s annoying the hell out of me and don’t gives a rats ass about 20 on 20 or whatever.
Speaking about satellite radio, I still like Sirius Satellite Radio more then XM, mainly because I like what they have and they’re 100% censor free, on XM, a good chunk of there channels are censored, while other’s aren’t, on Sirius, though, it’s all censor free (well… probably not all the channels but a good chunk of it is).
Anyways, back to the problem on hand… It makes me think how these artist (I don’t even know if I could even call them that) even come up with the lyrics? Do they just smoke something till something start coming from there ass? I mean, I like Because I Got High by Afroman because it’s honest in terms of him making the song while he’s high =p
Conclusion: I tend to listen to anything but there’s a good bunch of songs being released that just seems stupid and shouldn’t have been created. It really does make me sick when someone tells me that there favorite song is Your Beautiful by James Blunt or any other songs that are completely random and/or stupid and/or makes no since, I’m going to bitch slap you.
