The Countdown
I am now counting down the days tell the day I take off to FAnime in San Jose, CA. I’m hoping to get to meet a lot of my old friends and colleagues while meeting new friends in the progress. Lots of things plan and lots to do before going. My flight leaves at 7:10 in the morning so the pretty much means that I’m going to have to get to the airport about 6ish (I’m more likely going to be there a lot earlier, though), so I should be in San Jose around 9ish. From there I’m hoping to be able to check in to the hotel, once checked in I’m going to go have lunch with one of my old colleague who is now working at the lab over there. Stay in livermore for a bit and then go pick up my badge. Probably then either stay at the hotel or go back to livermore for some more randomly running around things. Go to the con on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Monday, go for only the first part of the day (unless there’s a panel I want to go to that happens later) then head off to livermore and hang there tell Tuesday. Fly back home at 6:18 pm. So, yep, going to have fun and meet old and new friends alike :)
